As good as new and feel great again. I have never been to a chiropractor before and I had some big reservations about the idea of spinal manipulation. To keep this story short, an ankle injury with long recovery, pregnancy ending with C-section and daily care for two infants, all within two years, had caused me great deal of back pain. So much so that I had trouble getting through basic daily activities such as lifting and holding my babies, standing in one place, sitting behind the wheel for longer than 30 minutes, etc. When pain started causing me trouble to sleep, reluctantly, but I finally decided to give chiropractic care a try. I went to see Dr. Michael R. Scaperato in Nordonia Hills Chiropractic in May. My first session consisting of evaluation, X-rays and consultation was free and took about an hour. I was able to immediately see the condition of my spine on that x-ray and it clearly show all the irregularities within. I had some misalignment and malfunction with nerve irritation, nerve and disc spur and decreased curvature. Clearly, my spine needed some help. Dr Scaperato assured me he can help me restore my spinal health and return to normal daily function. He took his time explaining the process and answering all my questions and concerns. He was very optimistic and enthusiastic, clearly, he strongly believes in what he is doing. We started treatments immediately, but cautiously. Every follow-up session he patiently answered all my questions, listened to my concerns and asked many questions himself. Many times, he asked me about an issue before I told him about it. Somehow, he could tell, just by some quick visual or feel examination. I was dumbfounded, I still don’t know how he does it. And not only he can recognize the issue, but he can fix it very effectively. I recall the initial few sessions with him, when I could feel the biggest improvements, the feeling of suddenly being "lighter", as if something heavy was taken off my shoulders. In very little time, I could sleep comfortably and function normally. I cannot remember all the techniques he used, but there were many. The treatments were very focused and specific to issues I described in the particular session. One time I came to see him after 4 days of relentless neck and shoulder pain, and I left almost completely pain free. He took extra 15 minutes that day to work on my stiff muscles. It has been two and a half months since my first visit. I started with three sessions a week and now I only come twice a month and I am pretty much pain free. The remaining pain I cause myself by taking care of the little people, which unfortunately involves some spinal abuse. One more crucial factor to my recovery story is exercise. Along with absolutely world class care by Dr. Scaperato, I added regular workout to strengthen weak muscles, which was also recommended by him.
I had chronic pain in my back and neck for over 15 years due to two falls from two stories as well as a trampoline accident and a car accident that left me in consistent pain. I've been to well over 20 chiropractors in several states in my life and this one is by far the best chiropractic office i've ever been to. They truly care about their patients and want to make sure they give you the best possible care. I suffered with depression as well as PTSD and PPD before coming here due to numerous highly stressful life circumstances. After a few visits i began to see an improvement in my mental state due to a homeopathic remedy that was recommended to me as well as the adjustments and holistic treatments they used. After approximately two months of twice weekly visits, my mental state was better than it had ever been in my entire life and continues to improve daily, my pain level has been drastically reduced and im blown away by the impeccable improvement in my abitily to handle stressful situations. I was in consistent fight or flight mode which made me unable to handle even low amounts of stress that led to chronic fatigue syndrome which they effectively helped me with to the point that i can now live a normal life again. I cannot recommend this practice enough. They gave me my life back. They also helped my five year old son who had behavioral issues. Even his grandmother commented how much more well behaved and calm he became after treatment. I've seen both Dr. Sesny and Dr. Scaperato and they are equally knowledgeable and effective in the techniques they use so i would recommend either of them. I also have to mention that i've never been to a better masseuse than the one they employ.
I've been going to Dr. Mike for about a year now. within that year I became pregnant and really struggled with body changes, vertigo, and nausea. Dr. Mike helped me get through all of these! at 1 week to my due I was having issues dropping and am facing a possible induction because I had no effacement or dialation. Dr. Mike helped with getting baby to drop and with that (at 2 days before my due date) I was finally 50% effaced and 1cm dialated! I'm still facing possible induction, but I was told to keep seeing Dr. Mike because with his help I may not have to be induced!!!!! seeing Dr. Mike is the highlight of my week because he listens and helps with every issue!
The best place ever.Dr Mike Scaparato is my Dr.I have never felt so good as when I started going to him.Very thorough and knowledgeable.Gentle as well.Started going to him after I watched him work on my Grandsons.I want him.So back in June started going and have never felt so good without the use of needles and drugs that other Drs use .I live in the Boardman Youngstown area and going to Dr Mike is worth every minute of the drive.Thank you Dr Mike and office staff Diane Vickie and new personTracie.Thank you again.
Dr. Sesny is an amazing doctor. Dr. Sesny and his office really show that they care about you and will make you feel comfortable right away. I was his patient a little less than a year ago after trying what felt like every option including spinal surgery. After I found his chiropractic office I felt like I had a chance. He really was the only one that was able to help me. I am truly greatfull to have met him, and to have been his patient. I recommend him to family, friends, and anyone who is in pain. You haven't tried everything if you have not seen him yet.
Dr. Mike Scaperato has been adjusting me since the beginning of summer an I noticed an immediate difference in the way my body moved an worked as soon as I got up off his table. Light as a feather an about a foot taller. I'm a horseshoer an blacksmith by trade an my job is extremely rough on my body! He can truly make my joint an back pains disappear by the time I stand up at his office. I was very skeptical at first an hard headed but it's such a better an healthier option instead of medical medicine!!!
I've been going to Dr. Scott for as long as I can remember. I had some lower back issues and a lot of migraines as a kid, and now am able to maintain them. I use Dr. Mike now and he helps keep me healthy so I can perform my best at my job and doing my favorite activities!

I have Scleroderma & Sjogren's syndrome & have pain from both.
I wrote a testament in Dr Sesny's book for his ability to help me when
modern medicine didn't/couldn't.
I am not one to take "medication" if I don't have to. Dr. Sesny is my "alternative medicine".
Two years ago my Rheumatologist told me my Scleroderma is in remission.
I do chalk it up to Dr Sesny.
He can help so many people with so many things.
I've been seeing him recently for foot/calf pain.
I notice a difference after the first adjustment.
